Education Management Information System (EMIS) Technical Lead

About the role

FHI 360 is recruiting an EMIS Technical Lead for a planned MCC-funded education quality assurance activity in Belize. The role must be based in Belize at least half-time and may be remote otherwise. This position is contingent on FHI 360 being awarded the project; hiring depends on the award.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strengthening of the Belize Education Management Information System (BEMIS)
  • Improve data governance and data quality
  • Support school performance monitoring and teacher appraisal tracking
  • Develop dashboards and system interoperability
  • Lead change management and advise the Ministry of Education

Requirements

  • Master’s degree
  • 12+ years of experience in EMIS or digital-governance reform, including ministry-level implementation and donor-funded projects

Preferred qualifications

  • MCC experience
  • Quality assurance or assessment experience
  • Caribbean or small-island experience
