Account information
Work in Belize uses Firebase Authentication for sign-in and stores account and profile details in Firestore. Company profiles and published job listings are public. Job seeker profiles, applications, and résumé files are private.
Applications and files
Submitting an application shares its details and attached résumé with the company responsible for the job and platform administrators. Recruiter notes are visible only to authorized recruiters and administrators.
External applications
If a vacancy directs you to an external website, email address, or phone number, your application is handled by that employer outside Work in Belize. Their privacy practices apply.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, remove saved jobs, delete unattached résumés, and withdraw applications. Account settings lets you permanently delete your sign-in, profile, saved jobs, and résumé files, including attached files. Historical applications are retained as anonymous, withdrawn records without contact details, documents, or recruiter notes. Public company and job information may remain; deleting a company account closes its open jobs. Copies employers have already downloaded are outside Work in Belize’s control.
Usage reporting
Work in Belize measures page and vacancy views, application starts, and clicks on external contact methods. A random browser-session identifier prevents repeated views inflating counts; it is not an advertising identifier. We store aggregated counts and broad traffic sources, not search terms, full referrer URLs, or persistent IP addresses in analytics records. Signed-in return visits are recorded by day and removed with the account. Temporary deduplication records expire after 32 days. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable browser usage reporting. Actual application counts come from submitted records.
Company claims and sources
Claim evidence is visible to the requester and administrators. Original imported-post source links are stored separately for administrators and are not published as part of the job description.
