About the role
Matachica Resort on Ambergris Caye offers luxury experiences with its award-winning Mambo Restaurant, named BTB Restaurant of the Year 2023. It is seeking a dedicated Food Runner to help ensure smooth, efficient dining service. The ideal candidate is organized and energetic and can keep up with a fast-paced environment. Experience in fine dining or luxury settings is a plus, along with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders quickly and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Assist servers and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless dining experience
Requirements
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Flexibility in scheduling
Preferred qualifications
- Previous experience as a food runner or in a similar role (not required; training is provided)
- Experience in fine dining or luxury settings
