About the role

Aero Dispatch Services Limited is looking for a Ramp Agent to handle aircraft cargo, baggage and mail.

Responsibilities

Load and unload arriving and departing aircraft cargo, baggage and mail onto carts and/or dollies
Provide special handling of baggage, cargo and mail as required
Collect, load and unload live animals and dangerous goods on and off aircraft if needed
Deliver passenger baggage to the claim area and unload baggage onto the conveyor system
Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain safe working conditions
Verify luggage tags and flight information
Monitor customer safety during boarding and deplaning and assist customers in a friendly and courteous manner

High school diploma
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to achieve team goals
Able to work in stressful situations and manage time efficiently
High attention to detail
Willing to work a flexible work schedule
Basic knowledge of airport safety procedures
Physically fit to perform the duties of the job, including lifting, standing, pushing and bending for extended periods of time
