Recruitment Officer
About the role
Invictus BPO is hiring a full-time Recruitment Officer in Belmopan, working on-site with periodic remote work. The Recruitment Officer owns the top of the recruitment funnel: sourcing candidates through social media and other channels, building the employer brand, screening and first-round vetting, and handing vetted shortlists to hiring managers. The role reports to the HR Manager.
Responsibilities
- Source and engage candidates through LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, job boards, referrals and local community networks
- Design and publish recruitment content (job posts, employee spotlights and culture updates) and run organic and paid campaigns within budget and creative guidelines
- Review résumés, run phone and video screenings, and verify qualifications against role criteria, including English proficiency, schedule availability and company values
- Prepare standard candidate profiles and screening notes, and deliver vetted shortlists to hiring managers
- Schedule first-round interviews, confirm attendance, manage reschedules and tell candidates the outcome within the agreed timeframe
- Keep the applicant tracking system accurate and maintain a pool of passive talent
- Produce weekly recruitment and funnel reports, including source performance and campaign spend
- Keep candidate and employee data confidential and follow data protection and security policies
Requirements
- Associate degree in Business Management, HR, Marketing, Communications or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years in recruitment or HR, including producing social media content and sourcing candidates through social channels
- Skilled at organic posts and targeted recruitment ads, and able to read basic campaign data
- Strong résumé assessment and structured interviewing skills
- Excellent organisation for high applicant volumes across several requisitions at once
- Exceptional spoken and written English with a service-oriented approach
- Adaptability to changes in the local labour market
- Ability to drive recruitment across departments without direct authority
- Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems and office software
