About the role

Aero Dispatch Services Limited is looking for a Security Agent to carry out airline security duties.

Responsibilities

Perform duties in accordance with training provided and departmental procedures
Test baggage for any explosive materials
Inspect cargo to identify potential hazards
Notify supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur
Watch for potentially dangerous persons whose pictures are posted at checkpoints
Check passengers' tickets to ensure that they are valid
Guard airline gates to ensure no unauthorized personnel can access the airside
Perform other duties as assigned

High school diploma
Ability to learn security operations and procedures
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances
Able to follow and give directions
Good memory
Ability to be an effective team member
High attention to detail
Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures
Ability to maintain composure with authorities, clients, staff and the public, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations
Physically fit to perform the duties of the job, including standing, lifting, bending, pushing and pulling for extended periods of time
