About the role

San Pedro Belize Express Water Taxi is hiring a full-time Warehouse Assistant for its Express Imports warehouse in Belize City. The role receives, handles, organizes and delivers company supplies and materials so that departments get what they need on time. This is a physically active, hands-on role involving lifting, loading and unloading, forklift operation, driving, and indoor and outdoor work.

Responsibilities

Help receive, load, unload and organize goods and supplies
Operate a forklift to move and load materials safely
Prepare and deliver supplies to company locations
Drive company vehicles for deliveries and assigned duties
Help with inventory and warehouse organization
Provide professional and courteous customer service
Keep the warehouse clean, safe and organized
Complete deliveries accurately and on time, following all safety procedures

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Class A driver's licence
Able to drive a standard (manual) transmission vehicle
Able to operate a forklift safely
Physically able to lift and move heavy items
Reliable attendance and punctuality

Preferred qualifications

Previous warehouse, delivery, logistics or material-handling experience
Forklift operating experience
Good customer service and communication skills
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Able to work independently and as part of a team
