AC Technician, Refrigeration & General Maintenance Supervisor
About the role
Itz'ana Resort & Residences is looking for an experienced, hands-on AC technician to supervise air conditioning, refrigeration and general maintenance at its resort on the Placencia Road. The right candidate has strong technical knowledge, good troubleshooting skills, leadership ability and a track record of maintaining hotel and resort facilities so guests stay comfortable and operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily air conditioning, refrigeration and general maintenance work
- Carry out preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs and troubleshooting on AC systems and refrigeration equipment
- Oversee general repairs, including plumbing, electrical and other building maintenance within your qualifications
- Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and service requests
- Supervise, guide and support maintenance team members so work is done well and on time
- Maintain equipment, tools and maintenance records
- Make sure all work follows safety standards and operating procedures
- Work with other departments to keep disruptions low and the guest experience high
Requirements
- Proven experience in the hotel and resort industry
- Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration and general maintenance
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
- Able to troubleshoot problems, prioritize tasks and work independently
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, professional and committed to high standards of service and safety
- Willing to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays, and to respond to emergencies when needed
