Accounting Specialist
About the role
Bowen & Bowen is hiring an Accounting Specialist in Belize City to handle bank verification, reconciliations and treasury support.
Responsibilities
- Verify daily bank transactions, deposits and balances, and flag unusual activity
- Reconcile bank statements and clearing accounts to the General Ledger and post bank journal entries
- Resolve bank discrepancies and respond to audit queries
- Serve as Key User for SAP Treasury functions
- Support stock takes and other treasury tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration (an associate degree with relevant experience will be considered)
- Experience in accounting, treasury or finance
- Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations and the General Ledger
- Attention to detail, organization and communication skills
