Answering Service Agent – Santa Elena
About the role
Dedicated People, an international call centre, is hiring Answering Service Agents at its Santa Elena office to take calls and messages for businesses in the US and Canada.
Responsibilities
- Answer calls and take messages in English for businesses in the US and Canada when their offices are closed or unavailable
- Let callers know the office staff is unavailable and record their important information so the office can call back
- Decide whether each call is urgent or routine and route the message to the right contact method
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Good typing and computer skills
- Advanced English (C1 or higher)
- Available to train in the mornings (7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
- Willing to work from the office
Preferred qualifications
- Spanish speaker (highly preferred, but not required)
