About the role

Jaguar Reef Lodge is seeking a professional, energetic, and guest-focused Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests while maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, product quality, inventory control, and bar operations. The ideal candidate should have a passion for hospitality, strong attention to detail, and the ability to create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for every guest.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve cocktails, beverages, juices, and mixers according to standardized recipes and TBC standards.
Provide warm, attentive, and professional service to our guests.
Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked, and welcoming bar and lounge area.
Manage bar inventory, requisitions, receiving, and daily closing procedures.
Handle guest bills, beverage tickets, cash sales, and POS transactions accurately.
Support drink specials, welcome drinks, infused beverages, and other F&B activities.
Work closely with the F&B team to ensure smooth and efficient daily bar operations.

Requirements

Previous bartending experience, preferably in a hotel, resort, or restaurant environment.
Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and beverage service.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Friendly, professional, and attentive to guest needs.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and procedures.
Reliable, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts in a busy resort environment.
