About the role
San Pedro Belize Express Water Taxi is hiring a Cargo Cashier in Caye Caulker. The Cargo Cashier processes cargo transactions, handles cash and keeps cargo documentation in order.
Responsibilities
- Process cargo shipments, invoices and receipts
- Calculate charges and take cash, card and other approved payments
- Verify cargo documentation
- Keep daily transaction records and reconcile cash at the end of each shift
- Explain cargo rates to customers
- Coordinate with Cargo Agents on discrepancies
Requirements
- High school diploma
- At least 18 years old
- Fluent English
- Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Able to stand for long periods
- Comfortable handling cash
- Reliable attendance
Preferred qualifications
- Spanish
- Cashier, customer service or sales experience
- Cash handling experience
- Cargo or logistics experience
