Chief of Party – TVET Training and Transitioning to Work Activity
About the role
FHI 360 is recruiting a Chief of Party to lead a planned Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC)-funded Training and Transitioning to Work (TVET) activity in Belize. The Chief of Party leads the project team and its technical and operational work and serves as the main liaison with MCA-Belize, MCC and the Government of Belize. This position is contingent on FHI 360 being awarded the project; hiring depends on the award.
Responsibilities
- Lead the project team and oversee technical and operational delivery
- Ensure the quality of deliverables, work plans, budgets and reports
- Serve as the main liaison with MCA-Belize, MCC and the Government of Belize
- Set up teams and procedures and recruit project staff
Requirements
- Advanced degree (Master’s preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in education or workforce reform, including TVET systems and governance or accreditation reform
- Experience working with government ministries
- Knowledge of the Belizean education system and MCC and Government of Belize compliance requirements
- Commitment to gender and social inclusion
- Fluent English
