Experienced Call Center Agent
About the role
CustomerHD BPO is hiring experienced call center agents (3 or more months of experience) to train and work in its Belize City office on Newtown Barracks Road and Church Street. Agents handle customer inquiries by email, live chat and phone across campaigns that can include customer service, finance, technical support, medical, education, data entry, insurance, sales and appointment or reservation setting.
Responsibilities
- Gather information and talk to customers by email, online chat and phone to resolve their questions or concerns
- Maintain and update customer information as needed
- Calmly resolve and de-escalate issues
- Escalate calls to a supervisor when necessary, after exhausting all other options
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, or relevant experience
- Typing speed of at least 30 WPM
- Basic computer knowledge and the ability to navigate multiple screens
- Clear, professional and fluent spoken and written English
- Proven oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to work as part of a team
- Experience using computers, phones and apps
Preferred qualifications
- At least 6 months of customer service experience (for example reception, retail, front-of-house restaurant work or telemarketing)
