Grounds Keeper (Maintenance)
About the role
Benny's is hiring a Grounds Keeper for maintenance at its Cotton Tree Village location in Cayo. The Grounds Keeper keeps the compound, gardens and fence lines tidy, cares for outdoor plants and trees, looks after the chicken coop, and handles minor maintenance around the property.
Responsibilities
- Do regular landscaping: weeding, trimming and edging around trees, the fence line, the building and the yard
- Spray the compound with a backpack sprayer to control weeds and vines
- Remove trash and debris around the compound and place it in the proper garbage bin
- Seed, water, mulch, fertilize and apply chemicals to outdoor plants and trees
- Help plant and transplant flowers and small trees
- Care for the chicken coop: provide feed and water daily, keep feeding and drinking bins clean, and collect and clean eggs daily
- Check regularly that grounds equipment is in working condition
- Carry out minor maintenance by hand and with tools on the chicken coop, garden areas and fence lines
