Magistrate – Magistracy Department (3 positions)
About the role
The Judicial and Legal Services Commission invites applications for three Magistrate positions in the Magistracy Department, advertised by the Attorney General's Ministry. Successful applicants may be transferred to stations outside the Belize District, including San Pedro Town.
Requirements
- Qualified to practise as an Attorney-at-Law in Belize, or as an advocate in a Commonwealth court with unlimited civil or criminal jurisdiction, for at least 2 years
- In good health
- Conduct that maintains public confidence in the legal profession, and a high level of personal integrity
- Willing to subscribe to any Judicial Code of Ethics prescribed by the Chief Justice
