About the role

The Central Bank of Belize is hiring a Security Officer Grade III to enforce the Bank's rules, regulations and security procedures. The role is shift-based, may be assigned to different locations within the Bank, and reports to Security Officers Grade I and II.

Responsibilities

Ensure the security, safety and well-being of staff, visitors and the Bank's premises
Provide excellent customer service and follow the Bank's operating standards
Write reports on observations, incidents and surveillance activity
Respond to emergencies
Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

High school diploma
Knowledge of modern security techniques, security equipment and law-enforcement principles
Physically able to lift, bend and climb
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Analytical thinking, flexibility, attention to detail, stress tolerance and teamwork

Preferred qualifications

Police, military, security or small-arms experience
