Job Title: Senior Construction Bookkeeper Location: Remote — Latin America Compensation: USD 2,000–2,200 per month Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. U.S. Central time. About the Role Maintain accurate construction financial records through hands-on job costing, work-in-progress schedules and independent bookkeeping. Key Responsibilities • Prepare work-in-progress schedules and maintain job costing. • Support percentage-of-completion accounting, progress billing and retainage. • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations. • Maintain the general ledger and support month-end closing. Qualifications • At least two years of hands-on construction accounting experience. • At least five years of overall bookkeeping or accounting experience. • Practical experience preparing WIP schedules and managing job costing. • Hands-on knowledge of percentage-of-completion accounting, progress billing and retainage. Nice to Have • Experience with AIA billing, lien waivers, certified payroll or subcontractor compliance.
