About the role
Saint Martin's Credit Union is looking for a qualified, experienced and results-driven professional to lead its Loans Department, supporting portfolio growth, sound credit administration, credit risk management, business development and member service.
Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise and develop the Loans team
- Review and assess loan applications and recommendations
- Manage credit risk and loan portfolio performance
- Support strategic lending and portfolio growth initiatives
- Develop business and lending opportunities
- Collaborate on loan-product marketing initiatives
- Ensure compliance with lending policies and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and review lending reports
- Promote excellent member service and relationship management
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor's degree in finance, banking, business administration, accounting, economics or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in lending, credit administration, financial services or a related field
- Supervisory or management experience
- Strong experience in loan appraisal, credit analysis, loan administration and portfolio management
- Knowledge of credit risk management and lending practices
- Strong analytical, reporting and data-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
