Team Leader / Chief of Party – Education Quality Assurance
About the role
FHI 360 is recruiting a Team Leader / Chief of Party for a planned MCC-funded education quality assurance activity in Belize, working with MCC, MCA-Belize and the Ministry of Education. This position is contingent on FHI 360 being awarded the project; hiring depends on the award. The advertised salary range is the basic salary for a national hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership of the quality assurance activity
- Serve as liaison with MCC, MCA-Belize and the Ministry of Education, Youth, Sports and Culture
- Lead work planning and risk management
- Oversee reforms covering quality assurance frameworks, the Belize Education Management Information System, teacher policy and school improvement
- Supervise senior staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)
- 12+ years of experience in education reform, including 8+ years on national quality assurance or accountability systems
- Evidence of at least 3 qualifying assignments
- Fluent English
