TIG Welder
About the role
Maheias United is looking for an experienced Welder with TIG welding experience to support both workshop and site operations. TIG welding proficiency is required. Based at 3.5 Miles Philip Goldson Highway, Belize City.
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding and general welding works
- Fabricate, assemble, modify and repair metal components
- Read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
- Measure, cut, fit and prepare materials for welding
- Carry out on-site welding and installation works
- Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy
- Safely operate welding and fabrication equipment
- Follow proper welding and safety procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of TIG welding experience
- Proven welding and metal fabrication experience
- Able to read drawings and work from measurements
- Knowledge of welding techniques and safety procedures
- Able to use welding, cutting and fabrication equipment
- Comfortable working in both workshop and site environments
- Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work as part of a team
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with other welding processes
