About the role

Zeta-OW Purified Water & Ice is hiring an experienced and dependable Truck Mechanic in Orange Walk Town. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing and maintaining trucks and other company vehicles.

Responsibilities

Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance
Diagnose mechanical problems and carry out repairs
Repair and maintain engines, brakes, suspension, steering and other mechanical systems
Change fuel, oil and air filters, tune up engines and grease suspension systems and drive trains
Identify potential problems before they lead to breakdowns
Respond to vehicle breakdowns when necessary
Maintain tools and keep the work area organised
Keep proper records of maintenance and repairs performed

Requirements

Hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing and maintaining trucks and other company vehicles
Knowledge of carburetors, injectors and similar components
Able to work on brakes and wheel changes
Electrical knowledge
